DRY EYES
Yes. This is the explanation I like using.
Your tears lubricate your eyes - meaning, it allows your eyelids to glide over your cornea. If your eyes are dry, your eyelid is going to scratch and rub your corneas more. This will cause eye pain, and ironically REFLEX tearing.
